Amrapali Group of Institutes | Private University in Nainital | Top Engineering Colleges in Nainital

I studied Computer Science Engineering (2010 to 2014) from AITS. While my parents wanted me to drop and try for JEE; I really did not want to waste an year and applied for state counselling in Uttarakhand based on my AIEEE score. Driven a lot by my love for hills, I just started my journey to Nainital and stopped at Amrapali Group Of Institutes and decided to stay around for 4 years. My experience was quite good overall. Had my share of academic highs and lows but at the end closed my journey well with offers from some great MNCs. I was also very actively involved in technical and cultural fests, debates, anchoring and you name it. One area though, where I really want to bring college's attention is the influence of local political folks on the college and its students. I remember an incident when a local political leader was beating up our batchmate just because our friend was taking a walk around with some of his classmates that included a few girls too. The local folklore there (I heard it as a grapevine though) is that the villagers there had issues with college students as they had often caught them in inappropriate situations; as a result the villagers established this as an opinion for every single student. When my friends and I went to save our batchmate, the local men charged into the hostel campus and believe you me they came in hundreds. The college administration should really be more cautionary and efficient in safeguarding the college premises. It has never happened that people in such large masses intruded into a college campus. Barring the security point, I feel the college has really good things to offer and I am quite hopeful about its progress and success in the years to come.

I have been an Asst. Professor here and this is one of the best institute for studying various courses. The atmosphere is full of enthusiasm and various cultural, as well as technical events, are part of the curriculum which helps in the overall grooming of the students.The institute is nearby the famous Hill Station Nainital and surrounded by the beautiful mountains.

Persuing my graduation in BTech mechanical engineering from this college, location of college is best, very peaceful environment and the campus is big ,they provide Btech in all branches, BCA, MBA, BBA, B.PHARM, D.PHARM and mainly for which this college is famous for i.e Hotel management and it is affiliated with both UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY and KUMAUN UNIVERSITY. The blocks for each course is different and the infrastructure of campus is great. With the academic, various extra curricular activities also takes place and in sports area, various sports and athletic activities are organised by institute. The playground is very big. Homeopathic Medical Officer) Female Districtt Hospital Pithoragarh Uttarakhand. The institute has well defined infrastructure plus highly qualified teachers and best hostel wardens. My daughter completed the course of B.Ed from this clg (2020- 2022). Pass out batch from November 2022. Just want to share something my daughter was bullied trolled and mentally harassed by 3 girls from this b.Ed depart her classmates in front of whole b.Ed department group of B.Ed in WhatsApp groups . The girls were named Suhasini Dhondiyal ( CR ) , Preeti goswami her name is now Preeti Patwal and Sonal Mehta . They insulted my daughter Nivedita karki in social media insta dance videos saying poucha lga le laughing at her dance and the third one is saying devta Ara hai ...it's like insulting someone ' s art. My daughter is a dancer from her School. They insulted her in DM in WhatsApp saying this CR girl also threatened my daughter saying my father is a journalist we will file case of cybercrime to you .They are doing like very bad abusive comments on her dance reels publicly my daughter ignored for months . They deleted their comments then these 3 girls bullied and trolled my daughter which is called mentally harassement showed bad behaviour in WhatsApp group of whole teachers of b.Ed Amrapali Group showing her personal messages in front of whole class and teachers . They also said Suhasini said ur dance is vulgarity it's called R naach. Preeti said tum isko itna importance kyu dere ho and this Sonal Mehta was her ex roomate she said tu humara teeno ka and Divya ka naam lekar Hume Khali badnaam mat kar in front of whole b.Ed group in whtsapp. This is not acceptable for me she is daughter of Doctor and Govt.Teacher. Her grandfather was retired from Food Inspector studied from DSB campus Nainital .It's an insult for ur family too.These 3 girls said they had not done anything showing their bad behaviour ego and attitude to her. My daughter took a stand for her one more girl was insulting her to learn English and all my daughter had studied from Don Bosco Convent School Pithoragarh. This all shows their bad manners and no educated background . My daughter is bullied up badly and trolled in front of whole class and b.Ed staff. I want the college to take strict action to these girls so that in future this does not happens to any girl in this century . At last it's a critical Case. . They had done mind wash of my daughter in very critical condition . It's last warning to these girls otherwise II ll take strict actions if the college does not take the action. Thank you 🙏🙏
